Youngest Riders at the 2007 L.A. World Cup

Filed under: ADT Event Center,Cycling — Administrator @ 5:14 pm

I claimed that there were a lot of young riders. Here are the facts.

One is still a junior, and 49 have “graduated” from the junior ranks in the last two years, according to their UCI code numbers. All of those with links appeared in the Junior Velo database while still juniors.

World Cup (Near) Juniors

Filed under: ADT Event Center,Cycling — Administrator @ 9:56 am

The World Cup races in Los Angeles feature a cast of riders which seems especially young, including some who have featured a Junior World in just the last few years.
A very partial list includes Jason Kenny, Shane Perkins, Cameron Meyer, Clair Sandie, Jane Gerisch, Shuang Guo, and Lizandra Guerra.

Fixed Gear Fever is providing live coverage, so I’ll leave results to them. Here are a couple of pictures taken with my old non-SLR camera.
