I finished 2nd on the Sprint, behind big winner of the Championships Michael Vingerling (European Champion Scratch). He won all components he competed at. 6 in total.

Because of a cold track, and early in the morning the 200m times of everybody were way slower then usual.
I finished 5th in the Keirin. After I won my heat, I alsmost fell in the final, causing my bad result.
Tomorrow at Sunday I will compete at the Sprint.

In the coming four (27/30 December) days the National Track Championships in Holland will be held in Alkmaar.
On December 27th the U17 and Youth riders age 13 and 14 will ride their Omnium. They will ride a 500 meter standing start, sprint, pointrace and 2km. pursuit. All in one-day.
On Friday, Satarday and Sunday the Juniors and Elite will ride their races. I will ride on the Keirin (Friday) and Sprint (Sunday).

It has just been officially announced that the USA Cycling Junior
Track National Championships will be held at the ADT Event Center in
Carson, August 14-17, 2008.

In anticipation of this development, the SCNCA Junior Track District Championships have
been scheduled to also be held at the ADT Event Center in Carson,
June 21-22, 2008.
