Live Bookmarks for this Site

Filed under: Cycling — Administrator @ 7:41 am

For Firefox users only:

Maybe I’m behind the times, but I just found out what “Live Bookmarks” are in Firefox. To me it means that Firefox has a built-in RSS reader, but it’s not called that because you access the information through buttons that look like bookmarks. Admittedly this site hasn’t had much news lately, but if you want to stay up to date, here’s one way.

When you view this site with Firefox you should see an icon like this Live Bookmark Icon in the bottom right corner of the window. Click it and you’ll see several options like “Subscribe to ‘RSS 2.0′…”. Click any of them (I used the first) and you’ll get an “Add Bookmark” dialog. Add it like any other bookmark. If you really like this site, put it in your Bookmarks Toolbar folder. One click gives a list of recent article titles, then select one to read as usual.

Of course you don’t need Firefox to use the RSS feeds on this site. Any “RSS reader” will do and many are available. One list of such readers is at blogspace.com. Just to make things easy, here’s the feed.
